Led by NICRE, the initial phase involves stakeholder mapping, data review, and community engagement to connect people, nature, and place. Commissioned by the Environment Agency and Natural England. PhD Research: A qualitative study exploring sustainable entrepreneurship within the North East of England, with the main research objective being to critically analyse the centrality of the owner-manager in green micro-businesses. Archive --- Exploring Artistic Workspace in Newcastle: A series of conversations with artists aimed at understanding how access, or the lack of it, to quality artistic spaces impacts their practice and wellbeing. More Than Meanwhile Spaces: Led by Dr Emma Coffield, this collaborative project explores long-term futures for artist-led spaces and workspaces in the North East of England. Making the Clayton Street Corridor: Academics from Newcastle University worked to support grassroots artist involvement with the new Cultural and Creative Zone (CCZ) in Newcastle city centre. MA Dissertation: A quantitative study exploring how environmental self-identity influences the pro-environmental behaviour of the self-employed in the North East's creative industries. <<
